Walking drop dead gorgeous! Norman Reedus stuns as he poses with vintage Mercedes-Benz for photoshoot

His weapon of choice is a crossbow on the iconic zombie show, The Walking Dead.

But Norman Reedus returned to his former days as a model when he was spotted starring in a photo shoot in New York City's West Village on Monday.

Norman, 46, donned a black leather jacket as he modelled beside a glossy black vintage Mercedes-Benz convertible for a Men's Fitness spread, according to Us Weekly.

Norman looked deep in thought as he rubbed his whiskered chin while resting against the exquisite car's exterior.

The actor's signature shoulder-length hair gave his cleaned up appearance an edgy streak.

Norman continued to give the camera a steely expression after hopping inside the driver's seat of the vintage mobile.

The actor continued to admire the car when he was photographed placing his hands upon the vehicle's front hood.

This is certainly not Norman's first time posing for photographers.

The actor has previously modelled for brands that include The Gap and H&M.

In February, Norman recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon how he inadvertently beat out Nicolas Cage for a Prada campaign after he was photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

'Annie Leibovitz came to the set of Six Ways To Sunday and she shot some of the photos, she knew people there, but she had dinner with Miuccia Prada and they were doing a series of actors, like John Malkovich did it, and Tim Roth did it, and Joaquin did it, and she said, "Well I shot this kid today."

'And then I got a call from my manager at the time, saying, "It's between you and Nicholas Cage for Prada", and I was like, "What's Prada?"'

He added: 'They sent me to Paris and gave me some clothes.'

On top of modelling, Norman is also an avid photographer.

The actor has a photography exhibit at Voila! Gallery in Los Angeles entitled NORMAN REEDUS: A Fine Art Photography Exhibition, which will run until December 31.
